Judy in Blue Mood Self Portrait

dear katerina, thank you so much for your kind words regarding my "self-portrait...depressing though it is, at least it was to me when i painted it. as i look at it now, it is not so terribly depressing, nor does it look as much like me as i would like...that was very much due to my mood, feeling bleak. i have a photo of myself i will put on soon ;i had a good one, but it is way too small for this sight...as they told me twice before i got the message;i had had about 4 hours of sleep that night, so was not truly with it, if you know what i mean;i enjoy painting at night, and being a "night person" all my life, many of my better works are painted at night. i am going to check your works as soon as i can get back on the computer, and i know already from what i have seen that i will love any new ones;you are a truly remarkable artist;your work moves me, makes me feel, unlike too many paintings on fineart america that are expertly done, colorful, beautiful but, to me are empty emotionally. do you know what i mean? i suspect..from your work...that you do. but there is plenty of room in the world for all types of art so i can appreciate a lot of it;just not too much of it hits me emotionally as yours and some others do. thank you so much, katerina...love, judy
