Although I've been trained in art (including studying under Orlin Helgoe, Bob Wands, John Mendoza, etc.), I didn't do much with it until around 2007. I have struggled with physical and emotional issues since my teens and have had numerous surgeries, etc. I found, however, that the excitement and joy I felt when I returned to art about 5 years ago has helped me to heal my wounds. My work is about emotions, and not just the fun, happy ones. I work primarily in acrylics and multimedia, but have recently found a love of watercolors. I love to do paintings that evoke feelings in myself and others. Some of my work is very raw because it comes from my heart and gut. It is about real situations, real people, real feelings. My paintings are totally honest and come from my life's experiences.

* NOTE: MY HEALTH HAS TAKEN A TURN FOR THE WORST. IF YOU ARE COMMENTING, RECOMMENDING, OR WATCH-LISTING ME, THANK YOU, AS I AM GRATEFUL. PLEASE BE AWARE IT MAY TAKE ME A WHILE TO RESPOND. It is not me, but a friend, who enters new paintings on my behalf. Thank you for your patience.

I love the fact that this website exists, as it is wonderful to look at the work of others and to communicate with them. I have met some very good artists and people at FAA. This is wonderful!
